Meet Your New Favorite Photographer

Hello, I’m Damian Abdallah, the photographer behind Wranglin’ Media, focused on sports, rodeos and jaripeos, live performances, and events.

My style of shooting is to bring an up close view of people/events to really show the emotion and energy of the subjects. I am constantly scanning the area and action, looking for the best and coolest angles to capture. I love giving an inside view and getting a cinematic shot that creates a feeling.

Photography to me is art and self-expression; it’s how I show my vision of a scene through my own perspective. I put myself in the subject’s shoes, capturing angles and moments that I would want if I were in their position during those important moments. It’s also been a way for me to build connections within different communities and push myself to go out and experience new things. At the same time, it’s rewarding to help give events and people more exposure through my photos.

I started photography in February 2024, capturing action shots during Army field trainings (FTX), range qualifications, and drills. From there, I continued practicing at family gatherings and sporting events, building my skills and style. In May 2025, I launched Wranglin’ Media, marking the start of my photography journey.

About me:

I’m 22 years old and currently a business student at Eastern Michigan University. Alongside school, I work in my family’s business and serve as a supply sergeant in the Army Reserve. I am from all over southeast Michigan, having lived and worked in Warren, Livonia, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Dundee, and currently in the Plymouth-Canton area. I am also of Lebanese American background. A little fun fact is I love learning about Latin culture and study Spanish in my free time (not fluent!).
